Hello there. I'm Star; yes that's my real name and no my parents weren't hippies.
I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii,and grew up in California and pretty much lived the last 16 years of my life in Arizona. I went to Collins College in Tempe Arizona, studying Visual Communications & Graphic Design.

I was eventually given an opportunity to meet with Joe Kleiman, who at the time was the CFO at 944 Magazine on March 30th of 2007. An hour after interviewing with him, I received an offer letter via email. Completely made my day and I was ecstatic to tell my dad, as he was a big push and help to get through college. I became the Lead Print Trafficker and have been there ever since. I also handle the social networking and assist with events when needed. Other than that I'm a free lance graphic designer, photographer, blogger, and BON VIVANT. I love to chill with my friends, hang out with my kitty Mozart and travel when given the opportunity and time.
